The approved County Emergency Operations Plan follows the Kansas Planning Standards and is formatted using the 15 identified Emergency Support Functions (ESF). Documents found below in this section explain how the CEOP is formatted and define the ESF's used. The Clay County CEOP was approved by the Kansas Division of Emergency Management July 21, 2014 and was adopted by Clay County by resolution on August 4, 2014.
The Multi Jurisdictional Mitigation Plan includes counties in the North Central Kansas Region.
The approved Clay County Disaster Debris Management Plan was approved by FEMA April 9, 2008. The plan was updated by CY EM and re-approved by FEMA on June 24, 2016.
