Family Planning

Purpose

The Family Planning program provides confidential preventative and reproductive health care services for women and men. 

Services

  • Assistance with referrals for abnormal results
  • Contraceptive counseling and prescription for methods
  • Contraceptive supplies
  • Free condoms (donations appreciated)
  • HIV information and referral for testing
  • Immunization Assessment and Referral (i.e., Hep B, Hep A, and HPV)
  • Lab tests
  • Pap tests
  • Physical Exam
  • Pregnancy testing and referrals
  • Sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Women and Men who wish to delay, space, and choose the timing of their children.

Fees:

  • Charges for services are based on a client's ability to pay according to a sliding fee scale.
  • Accept most commercial health insurance and Medicaid. 

Birth Control Options Available:

  • Implants
  • IUDs
  • Injection (Depo-Provera or equivalent)
  • Oral contraception 
  • Condoms
  • Diaphragms
  • Sterilization referral
  • Referral for other methods.
