Background

Clay County In-Home Services is the Contracting Provider for Area Agency on Aging Services for Clay County residents. A case manager from North Central Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging will schedule a no cost/no obligation assessment to help you determine which programs best suit your needs and develop a plan of care for you. If you do not qualify for Sliding Fee Scale you are still eligible for the following services.

All staff providing services are Certified Home Health Aides (HHa), Certified Nurse Aides (CNA), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)'s or Registered Nurses (RN).

Services Available

  • Nurse Visits-Lab draws, nail and foot care for diabetics and those on blood thinners.
  • Medication Management-set up, monitor compliance, reorder medications as needed and daily reminders as needed.
  • Personal Care
    • Bathing-tub, shower, sponge, bed
    • Skin Care/Nail Care-non diabetic and not on blood thinners
    • Hair Shampooing
    • Oral Hygiene
    • Walking/Exercising
  • Homemaking
    • Light-Necessary Cleaning-vacuuming/dusting, floors, dishes.
    • Meal Planning-Preparation and/or Cooking.
    • Laundry-washing/folding clothes, making beds.
  • Errands
    • Essential shopping for groceries and necessary items.
