Emergency Preparedness
The Clay County Health Department must be prepared to respond to any emergency impacting the public's health. The mission of the Emergency Preparedness Section is to prepare the health department staff to respond to public health emergencies, to collaborate with local, regional, and state emergency response partners, to educate the public, and to provide rapid detection and intervention of public health diseases and emergencies. The health department has developed this section of its website to provide information and resources related to preparing for emergencies and disasters that may effect the public's health.
