Commissioner Spicer, Commissioner Mayo, and Commissioner Thurlow were present at a regular meeting beginning 8:30 a.m. The minutes were approved as printed. Payroll in the amount of $127,304.74 was reviewed and approved. Bills in the amount of $439,808.81 were reviewed and approved.
The Board will meet next Tuesday the 13th, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Dana Rickley, County Health Administrator, met with the Board. Income and expenses and the 2009 budget for the Health Department were discussed. A transfer of $3,000 from County General to the County Health Fund will be made to cover expenses for the month of September. The H1N1 nasal mist is expected to arrive in the near future.
Chuck Dunn, Sheriff, met with the Board to give his weekly report.
Steve Liby, Highway Administrator, met with the Board to discuss several pieces of equipment. A Highway use Permit application was received from the Keystone Pipeline for the use of a right-of- way in the County. Rick James, County Attorney, joined the meeting. The Board instructed Mr. Liby to hold this application for review. Four hand held radios will need to be replaced. This expense will wait till next year with the 2010 budget. Mr. James discussed fence viewing with the Board.
