DID YOU KNOW THE DEXTER PARK BUILD DATES are April 27 – May 1, 2011! We still need volunteers for the build! Shift times are 8:00AM-12:00NOON, 12:30PM-5:00PM, and 5:30PM-Dark. You can just show up at any time!!
DID YOU KNOW You can sign up for Girls City Softball now? The Deadline is April 30th. Ages 5-8, and 9-12. $10 per child, Limit $20 per family. You can pick up the forms at the Information Center, at 517 Court.
DID YOU KNOW In the month of April Twin Valley is offering ½ off for 6 months for new Twin Valley Wireless customers?
In addition, new Twin Valley Phone, Digital Television and High Speed Internet customers will receive 1 month free and a $50 Donation in their name towards the Dexter Park Project (If pickets are available, they can choose to do that as well.)
DID YOU KNOW TigerShark Swim team is starting? Who is eligible? Anyone between the ages of 5 and 18
5 – 8 year olds must be able to swim 10 yards
9 – 12 year olds must be able to swim 50 yards
13 and up must be able to swim 100 yards
Orientation Meeting: May 4, 2011 at 6:30 pm – ALL SWIMMERS AND THEIR PARENTS Clay Center Community Middle School
· All fees need to be paid at this time.
· We will go over team rules and team expectations.
· We will have our swim team meet schedule available.
· We will be ordering suits, caps, goggles, and t-shirts
Fee: $30.00 for the first child in the family
$40.00 for two children in the same family
$45.00 for three or more children in the same family

EACH SWIMMER PARTICIPATING ON THE TIGERSHARKS SWIM TEAM WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO PAY A $7.00 FEE FOR LIABILITY INSURANCE IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE MEMBERSHIP FEES.
Meet Information: The team will be participating in 5meets, which are scheduled on Saturdays
beginning June 4h and ending with the League Championship Meet on July 9th.

DID YOU KNOW The 31st Annual KCLY Spring Fair will be Friday, April 29th at the National Guard Armory 10:00AM to 8:00PM. There will be approximately 80 booths at this one day expo show. Enjoy seeing, learning and purchasing from a variety of home, business, and health related businesses. DID YOU KNOW The 2nd half property taxes are due by May 10th. Due to a computer software issue, the due date that printed on the payment coupon is May 11th. Payments received or postmarked through May 11th will be accepted without penalty. For more efficient processing please return the payment coupon with your payment. Payments may also be made on-line by going to www.kansas.gov/propertytax. DID YOU KNOW the Chamber of Commerce has a weekly community coffee? They will meet on Wednesday, April 3rd at 8:00AM
DID YOU KNOW Parents as Teachers Play Group meet every Wednesday 9:30AM-11:00 at the District Gym on Prospect, behind CCCHS. All play groups are open to any family that has a child between 0-3 years old. Older siblings are also welcome. There will be no Play Group when school is not in session.
DID YOU KNOW that Rotary Club will meet Thursday, April 21th at Noon? This week will be the PLAY GROUND BUILD -- If you would like to attend future Rotary meetings as a guest or become a member please contact a current member for information.
DID YOU KNOW the Rex Theatre shows movies each week? Showing at 7:30PM Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is “HOP” Rated PG Unemployed slacker Fred (James Marsden) suddenly finds himself uncharacteristically busy after he runs over the Easter Bunny and has to not only nurse the gimpy rabbit back to health but also take over his duties so that the holiday can continue. Burdened with a cranky, cotton-tailed houseguest and a bout of intensive egg-delivery training, Fred finally begins to grow up in this hilarious and touching blend of live action and animation. Coming in May, on May 6th (Opening Day) Is “THOR” and on May 26th with be “KUNG FU PANDA 2” More details will follow.

DID YOU KNOW Weight Watchers meets every Tuesday at the Evangelical Covenant Church 1330 15th Street? Weigh in is between 5:30 – 6:00PM, the meeting starts at 6:00 and goes to 6:30. For new members there will be a short Getting Started session after the meeting.

Vendor applications will be taken until April 15. In addition to the vendor booths, BPW members will have breakfast and lunch items for sale as well as baked goods.
