Ducks will be available at George’s Jewelry and Green Team of Clay Center, Inc. Ducks will sell for $5 each of 5 for $20. The first five ducks to dross the finish line will have an opportunity to win a new Colorado pickup truck from Green Team of Clay Center Inc. 1st place wins $500 cash, 2nd place ½ hog, 3rd place – stay at Topeka Holiday Inn; 4th place - $50 in gas and 5th place – meal for two at Danny’s Grill & Catering. The Great Republican River Duck Race will be held on Saturday, July 24th at 2:00PM. They must sell 1,000 ducks to qualify for the truck.
